If you move house, the digital vignette must be transferred to the new vehicle licence plate number in the toll shop's customer account in good time. This does not happen automatically!

In other cases, too, you can re-register your digital vignette to a new vehicle license plate number under certain conditions.

Tip: If you do not yet have an ASFINAG customer account, create one in our toll shop and then assign your purchased product to your account. Then you can manage your products quickly and conveniently yourself.

When purchasing the digital vignette online, you have a right of withdrawal as a consumer. Therefore, your product is only valid from the 18th day after purchase. Please note the validity period on the order confirmation.

If the Austrian motorway and expressway network is used without a valid vignette, the owner of the registration will receive a substitute toll request (Austria, Switzerland) or an information letter (European Union).

By paying the payment request in full and on time, you will avoid the initiation of administrative penalty proceedings.

If the windscreen is replaced, your adhesive annual vignette becomes invalid as soon as it is detached from the original windscreen. 

Please apply for a replacement vignette or a refund for the cost to purchase a new annual vignette when replacing the windscreen.

In the event of a total loss, your adhesive annual vignette becomes invalid as soon as it is removed from the original windscreen. This means that it cannot be transferred to your new vehicle.
