When labeling, designing, and installing directional and informational signs, we adhere to the guidelines and regulations for road infrastructure (RVS).
The following orientation elements are taken into account:
- Long-distance destinations: Federal and state capitals as well as cities in neighboring countries of comparable significance.
- Regional destinations: Locations with supra-regional traffic importance, regions, and mountain passes that serve as orientation points (e.g., Brenner, Arlberg).
- Local destinations: Traffic-relevant locations, important transport hubs, and significant traffic generators.
We regularly inspect the quality of road markings to ensure traffic safety. Particular attention is paid to their visibility and recognizability, for which there are clear legal requirements (retroreflective value).
Road markings are typically renewed twice a year, in spring and autumn. This is either carried out by us or by specialized companies we commission.
In general, road markings are subject to strict and uniform legal regulations and guidelines. This uniformity ensures that the markings meet high standards for visibility and durability.
