With the scratch code on your scratch card, you can redeem a Digital Annual Vignette in the ASFINAG‑Mautshop. The code serves as a payment method.
Important:
If you redeem a Digital Annual Vignette using a scratch code, it becomes valid immediately. There is no right of withdrawal.
How to redeem the scratch code
- Scratch off the code on the front of the scratch card.
- Open the ASFINAG‑Mautshop and click on „Buy now“.
- Select the Digital Vignette and the vehicle type „Car“.
- Select „Annual Vignette“.
- Your product is now in the shopping cart. The next step is to click on „Configure and order now“.
- During configuration, select the registration country and enter the license plate twice. Click on „Next“.
- Enter your email address twice.
- Select the scratch card as the payment method, enter the scratched-off code, and click on „Next“.
- The total amount of € 0.00 will now be displayed. The validity start automatically changes to „immediately“. Accept the General Terms of Use.
- Click on „Redeem code and order“.
- Stay on this page until we complete your order. Do not refresh the page.
- Order completed. You will receive your order confirmation and invoice via email.

The Digital Annual Vignette is only valid if:
- the scratch code has been correctly redeemed, and
- you have received an order confirmation.

At ASFINAG toll stations (Brenner, Arlberg, Tauern/Katschberg, Bosruck, Gleinalm, and Karawanken), private individuals can purchase scratch cards for the Digital Annual Vignette.
Entrepreneurs can order scratch cards with a minimum quantity of 50 pieces.
Some publishers (e.g., magazines) offer a scratch card for a free Digital Annual Vignette when subscribing to their services.
No. The Digital Annual Vignette becomes valid immediately upon using the code, and the right of withdrawal is waived. Therefore, you can no longer cancel the product.

You can redeem the scratch card until November 30 of the respective vignette year. The date can be found on the back of your scratch card.
No. An expired scratch card cannot be exchanged for a new one.
Refunds or exchanges for expired scratch cards are not possible.
