Access to the restroom facilities is managed via an on-site vending machine. The fee is 70 cents, and children under the age of 10 have free access.

When paying, a 70-cent voucher is issued. The vouchers are valid for 12 months and can be redeemed at all Austrian rest stations, regardless of the operator, as well as at gas stations along motorways and expressways. Up to 5 vouchers can be redeemed per purchase transaction.

The emptying of chemical camping toilets and gray water tanks is only possible and permitted at the following ASFINAG rest areas, as they are the only ones equipped with special disposal stations:

• A1 Rest Area Roggendorf – Kilometer 76.8 (direction Walserberg)
• A2 Rest Area Hainersdorf – Kilometer 133.8 (direction Arnoldstein)
• A2 Rest Area Bad Blumau – Kilometer 134 (direction Vienna)
• A10 Rest Station Lungau – Kilometer 97.9 (direction Villach)

For the emptying of separation toilets (without chemical additives), the following applies:

• The liquid container can be emptied at all ASFINAG rest areas.
• The solid container cannot be emptied due to the risk of clogging the drains and increased contamination of the sanitary facilities.

Yes, drinking water fountains are available at ASFINAG rest areas and rest stations.

For motorhomes, all disposal stations are equipped with a water supply point with a hose connection (you must bring your own hose). A fee of 1 euro is required (coin-operated machine).

• We clean the rest areas (including restrooms) several times daily between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m.
• The condition of the facilities also depends on the behavior of travelers.
• We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our restroom facilities clean.
• In the event of technical issues, we ensure repairs are carried out as quickly as possible.
